Free Books!

This month, I’m taking part in two book giveaways.

The first book that’s up for grabs is my historical paranormal male menage romance Hooch and Howls. I originally wrote this book in 2012 in response to a submissions call from one of the publishers I was working with at the time. It concerns a werewolf who lives in a former summer cottage near Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, in 1930. He meets two young men who have gotten caught up in the rumrunning trade and who are beginning a relationship. When one of the young men is held captive by the rumrunners for stealing, the werewolf joins forces with the other man to rescue him, and the three of them end up together.

Fast forward to when I started working on Take Some Tahini (Real Werewolves Don’t Eat Meat 6) in 2023, and knowing that that book would take place in Nova Scotia, I chose to use Malachi, the werewolf of Hooch and Howls, as a character. Werewolves live a really long time, so it was easy enough to bring Malachi into the present day. When I spun Malachi and his mate, Quinn Boucher, into their own series, I did a little revision on Hooch and Howls and relabeled it as a prequel to the Ebb & Flow series.

Hooch and Howls is currently available free to those who sign up for the Queeromance Ink email list.

The other book is a shorter story called The Sky Goes Forever. Max has just transferred from his Florida werewolf pack to a pack in northern Maine–and is stunned to discover that Russ Kent, the werewolf Max had once loved, is now also a member of the pack. This story is set in my overall werewolf universe but isn’t connected with either of my series; I wrote it to give readers a taste of my universe. The Sky Goes Forever is available on Bookfunnel, and this month is a part of the MM Romance Freebies multiauthor giveaway.
